Shortly after the Turks abruptly agrees to approve Sweden’s bid to become a NATO member, Democrat Bob Menendez, the U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee Chairman, suggested the “hold” he had placed on selling F-16s to the Turks in response to their “aggression” against their neighbors might be reconsidered. He told a reporter in passing that while he still has some concerns, he is reconsidering his stance.
