After Turkey feigned concern for Sweden giving its citizens the right to burn Qurans or any other religious text, now the United Nations Human Rights Council is joining in the “concern” as the left-aligned organization looks to continue to delegitimize any critique of Islam as it serves as a natural killer of western values, values which the UN and Turkey vehemently oppose. Volker Türk, the chief of the Orwellian named organization, hopes to reconcile Muslim nations’ calls on Western nations to act more like them in oppressing free expression that offends their false gods with western traditions of freedom of expression, meaning he hopes to nudge the West away from actual human rights towards state-controlled enforcement of “proper belief.”
