GOP BILL WOULD STOP BIDEN’S PLAN TO USE THE GOVERNMENT TO GET OUT THE DNC VOTE – Efforts by the Biden administration to weaponize the government to become a DNC outreach resource are being challenged by a bill introduced in the U.S. House by Representative Claudia Tenney (R-NY) and the Senate by Senator Ted Budd (R-N.C.). The bill, called the “Promoting Free and Fair Elections Act” aims to stop Federal agencies from working with non-governmental organizations to conduct voter registration drives or voter mobilization activities. The bill is in response to the Biden order to federal agencies to “promote voter registration and voter participation (by) soliciting and facilitating approved, nonpartisan third-party organizations and state officials to provide voter registration services on agency premises.”
