WOKE CORPORATIONS BUYING INTO DEI NOW GETTING SUED – Go woke, get sued might be the new mantra after numerous corporations that sought to have high Diversity-Equity-Inclusion (DEI) scores for their woke investors are now being sued for failing to actually deliver tangible evidence they’ve met these lofty goals. The chair of Reed Smith’s Global Labor Employment Group, Tyree Jones, observed, “You’re going to likely — at least for a while — continue to see that tested. Particularly as more companies too, sign on with very clear DEI goals and objectives, and then their employees or shareholders seek to hold them accountable for that.”
